Please allow me to tell you my story, Five years ago I was making my
first album with Grammy winning Producer/Engineer Bob Rosa - the man
responsible for advancing such artists as Madonna, N*SNYC, and Mariah
Carey. As you can well imagine, as a singer songwriter, this was my
dream come true. Shortly after recording had started I fell very ill,
with terrible physical complications. For example, suddenly, my left
eye had begun to lose sight, while I had gone completely blind in the
other. I promise you I barely had enough strength to stand, and felt
as if I was dying, slowly, as each hour passed.
After many tests, my family and I finally found out the worst: I
had Multiple Sclerosis. It is a lonely, terrifying, and frustrating
journey you begin when you are told you have a disease, and that there
is no cure for you. After the dust of my denial had settled, I came to
fear that I would never work again. My producer gave of himself
selflessly, like so many integral players, and stuck by me. He took a
risk and invited me back to Miami to continue recording. His wife
Gerri even surprised me with a ticket back. As time went on many other
producers offered to help me complete this dream album.
I felt so blessed that I wanted to help my community; the
countless people suffering alongside with me whom want so desperately
to help, but don't have a face the public can see, or a name the
public knows, or an opportunity to contribute wholeheartedly to
finding a cure. I felt called to become a contributor to the Montel
Williams MS Foundation and now donate 15% of my net earnings, while
the rest largely goes to the expenses of the album.
By the grace of his heart, Montel had me on his show in June. Since
then, I have received so many messages from fans filled with faith,
love, and appreciation for what myself, Montel, and so many wonderful
souls are trying to do. It would truthfully only take reading one of
these messages I have received from frightened, yet inspired people
with MS across the world, for anyone to understand what I have begun
to do with my life.
Over the past year I have cried tears of gratitude for what a miracle
it is, that through faith and research, my sight has returned
perfectly, and my project, a life-long mission, was somehow able to be
completed. There are older generations ahead of me whom are afflicted
with MS that cannot do what I can because the disease modifying drugs
are brand new and are far too expensive, elusive, or simply not
available to the general public for distribution. These can only be
made available through the pooling of research money.
However, our plight is that these drugs are not a cure, they are only
a treatment.
MS is largely neglected, poorly funded, and requires as many trumpets
as possible to sound the clarion call. I have come to believe it to be
my calling to help, and I truly need your help, so that I might help
us. Please buy my MS Benefit CD "remember me forever" or the MP3's, by
clicking "Buy CD" You will be brought to the Airgo Music online store
where my music is available under "artists". It benefits the Montel
Williams MS Foundation.
Sincerley,

Remember Me Forever
This album is dedicated to the many people whom have shaped the person I am today. In this life I have been given the challenge of Multiple Sclerosis. As a survivor, I can honestly share with you, that like us all, some days shine light, others cast shadow. Yet, within that darkness, I have found reason to believe that you can do whatever you want in this world with the time that has been given to you. Please believe me when I say that no matter the obstacle, so long as you keep a clear mind, body, and spirit, you will always find your way to your peace and where you are meant to be.
love Paul Nicholas
